While listening to the Brewers games, players checked off different plays made on the card and then mailed in their card for a chance to win weekly prizes, including Brewers tickets, Team Store gift certificates, signed memorabilia and other great prizes. To enter the “It’s Our Time” Sweepstakes, Journal Sentinel/JSOnline readers and WTMJ Radio listeners took photos of the double-truck “It’s Our Time” poster hung in their home, workplace, at the ballpark, etc. and then sent it to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. The winner, based on pre-determined criteria and rules, won the opportunity to throw out the first pitch prior to a Milwaukee Brewers home game the following season and VIP treatment for four including four tickets, an opportunity to watch batting practice on the field, and a behind-the-scenes tour of Miller park prior to a Brewers home game the following season.</image:caption>

The public was asked to send in letters written home from WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War, and the Middle East. Out of the 35 finalists, 10 were selected. The 10 finalists received instructional training in a classroom setting by a Packers wide-receiver at Lambeau Field. Photos were studied on various forms of the Lambeau Leap, and each finalist received proper stretching and warm-up instructions from members of the Packers Training staff. The 10 finalists each tried out by taking one Lambeau Leap. The Grand Prize winner took the actual Lambeau Leap at halftime of a nationally-televised regular season home game.</image:caption>

Through this program, visibility was provided for member programs. There are more than eighty domestic violence programs in Wisconsin. For ten days, one special story about a child’s fight against cancer and their family’s message of hope was shared to raise money for pediatric cancer research. Funds were designated to the Bart and Cherry Starr Children’s Fund for pediatric cancer.  Following the campaign, the ten families were invited to virtually attend a surprise “thank you” ZOOM call with Matt LaFleur and Cherry Starr. Matt announced to the families that over $53,600 was raised for cancer patient families and pediatric cancer research.</image:title>

A sampling of these campaigns included End Stigma. Change Lives., to break down the stigma surrounding mental health. Matt LeFleur’s 10 Days of Hope, a campaign created for Green Bay Packer’s head coach Matt LeFleur, helped raise money for the Bart and Cherry Starr Children’s Fund for Pediatric Cancer Research and Treatment. Prior to Capture Sports Marketing, Tom was the Executive Director of Sports Marketing and Cause Marketing for The Chicago Tribune. Baylerian was responsible for the development of revenue strategies, meeting client’s KPI’s, creating strategic media and marketing programs/campaigns and increasing the financial performance for the Chicago Tribune’s Premium Accounts. Baylerian also negotiated corporate contracts and created never-done-before third-party sponsorship campaigns with Chicago’s professional sports teams. As Vice President of Advertising and Sales for the USA Today Network-Wisconsin, Tom oversaw print, digital, corporate partnerships and overall advertising revenue for Wisconsin’s most powerful media and marketing solutions organization which included the USA Today Network’s 11 Wisconsin markets. Baylerian has years of proven results in multimedia and sports marketing. As Senior Director of Agency Development at The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, he created sponsorship sales campaigns including: “Aaron Rodgers 12 Days of Christmas”, “The Green Bay Packers Lambeau Leap Sweepstakes”, “Pink Out at Miller Park” and “Know this Pro.” Baylerian also created “Five Words on Freedom” in partnership with southeast Wisconsin’s Stars and Stripes Honor Flight, among many other legacy programs including the “Green Bay Packers Fan Hall of Fame.” Tom negotiated all professional and semi-professional sports sponsorship agreements to financially benefit the various product lines and clients of the USA Today Network-Wisconsin. The teams included The Milwaukee Brewers, Bucks, Admirals, Wave and the Green Bay Packers. Tom produced and sold the weekly Emmy Award winning, “Preps Plus” on WTMJ-TV (NBC Affiliate). Tom has been asked to be a guest speaker at multiple Milwaukee Brewers Sponsor Summits and universities, including University of California Berkeley, Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Prior to joining The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Baylerian was Vice President of Business Operations and Marketing for the Milwaukee Wave Indoor Soccer Franchise.
