Kids in Crisis was a series created by the USA Today Network’s editorial team in northern Wisconsin and covered the growing concerns for teen mental health, bullying and teen suicide. Kids in Crisis grew into a movement, with Wisconsin families and experts joining the call to better support teen mental health. Ten Town Hall meetings were organized and live-streamed throughout the state. This series made it to the Wisconsin State Capitol, whereby former Governor Scott Walker increased the state budget to specifically address teen mental health throughout Wisconsin.

In a first of its kind, Bellin Health committed to be the underwriter of the series.
